This Privacy Policy explains how Upright Digital ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with the AIQ Global Energy Soirée (the "Event") and this website.

We collect information you provide directly, including:

Name, email address, company, and title, when you register for a VIP pass, are registered by a sponsor, or are imported from a partner guest list.
Sponsor company contact emails, when a sponsoring company submits an approved guest list.
Messages and contact details you submit through our contact form.
Check-in status and timestamp, recorded when you arrive at the Event.

We do not collect payment card information directly. We do not currently use analytics tools, advertising pixels, or third-party cookies on this site.

How We Use Information

To process and confirm your registration and generate your entry QR code.
To check you in at the Event and manage guest lists on behalf of sponsoring companies.
To send confirmations, reminders, and event-related communications.
To respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form.
To maintain the security and integrity of the registration process.

Who We Share Information With

We share information with a limited number of service providers who help us run the Event and this site:

Supabase — our database provider, which stores registration records.
Resend — our email provider, which delivers confirmation, reminder, and other transactional emails on our behalf.

A sponsoring company can see the guests it has registered through its own sponsor portal. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Data Retention

We retain registration data for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the Event and a limited period afterward for record-keeping and follow-up communications. You can request deletion at any time using the contact details below.

Your Choices

Every event email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or opt out of future emails, by contacting us directly.

Photography & Media

The Event may be recorded and photographed for documentation and promotional purposes, as described in the Terms & Conditions presented at registration. By attending, you consent to the use of your likeness in accordance with those terms.

International Data Transfers

The Event takes place in the United Arab Emirates. Our service providers may process data on infrastructure located in other countries. Where this occurs, we rely on the safeguards those providers make available under their own standard terms.

Children's Privacy

This Event and website are intended for business professionals attending in a professional capacity. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices evolve — for example, once online sponsorship payments go live. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
